Surgical abortions are extremely effective. Success ration is 99% if done by experienced person. Need to get a repeat procedure because the abortion didn’t work is really rare.
How late you can get an abortion?
You can go for abortion upto 20 weeks as per our present law prevailing in India. But it’s best to try to have your abortion as soon as possible.
What should I prefer? Abortion Pill or Surgical Abortion?
It depends on the period of gestation. But at initial stage also some people choose in-hospital abortion because they want to to have their procedure done at a hospital, with nurses, doctors, and trained support staff there the whole time. Also surgical abortions are much faster than the abortion pill. Most of the times surgical abortions only take about 5-10 minutes, while a medication abortion may take up to 24 hours to complete.
